Quick-fire questions with Angela
Potentia
What's a technology that gives you the most joy to use?
Angela
Noise-cancelling headphones. Nothing beats zoning out with a good playlist especially when you want a moment of calm or clarity in a busy world

If you could share a meal with anyone in history. Who would it be and why?
Angela
Honestly, I’d turn it into a dinner party and invite the guys from The Inbetweeners and The IT Crowd. I reckon it’d be absolute chaos in the best way, awkward banter, dry humour, and way too many laughs. Not historically significant, but definitely memorable

What's an industry you would love to learn more about?
Angela
Cybersecurity for sure. It’s always evolving and touches everything in tech. I’m especially curious about what drives people to hack systems, whether it’s for profit, challenge, or something else and how businesses can stay ahead of it. It’s such a critical part of building trust, protecting people, and keeping up with how fast the digital world moves.

It’s a sunny day, you have no plans for the next 12 hours... Where do you go and what do you do?
Angela
I’d jump in the car with the dog and head down to the beach for a few hours. Nothing better than salty air, sand underfoot, and watching the dog go nuts in the waves.

What do you think is the most important skill for interviewing?
Angela
Being your authentic self. It sounds simple, but it’s not always easy. People can tell when you’re being real and that’s what builds trust. Skills and experience matter, of course, but showing up as you helps both sides figure out if it’s the right fit.
