The Role

As a Senior Test Engineer, you'll design, develop, and enhance automated testing capabilities that support Enable's technology transformation. Working closely with Solution Architects, Developers, and fellow Test Engineers, you'll build automated testing frameworks that ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose.
This is a hands-on automation engineering role with a strong focus on code development, modern testing practices, and continuous improvement across Enable's technology landscape.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and developing automated testing frameworks, tools, and reusable test assets
  • Building automated testing solutions using Python and pytest
  • Supporting both modern cloud-native applications and existing legacy platforms
  • Developing API, integration, and event-driven testing capabilities
  • Working with containerised environments, deployment pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and testing outcomes
  • Collaborating closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Providing clear reporting and visibility of testing outcomes to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identifying opportunities to improve testing practices, tooling, and overall quality engineering capability
  • Mentoring team members and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
What You'll Bring
  • Strong experience developing automated testing frameworks and solutions
  • Advanced Python development skills, particularly with pytest
  • Experience with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, and other modern automation frameworks
  • Knowledge of API testing, event-driven architectures, and modern integration patterns
  • Experience working with AWS services, containerisation technologies, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with modern development environments and AI-assisted development tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders alike
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to challenge existing approaches to drive better outcomes
  • A genuine passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement
Why Join Enable?

Enable also offers:
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.
  • Professional development opportunities and ongoing learning.
  • An inclusive and supportive culture built on trust and collaboration.
