Position summary;

As Data Engineer, your role will be to source, transform and migrate all sorts of data into their Data lake, so it can be better consumed and analysed by the business.
You must love working with Data and helping a business to better understand one of their biggest and most misunderstood assets!



We need an excellent communicator to work with different business units and business owners that input into the data sets and the teams that will consume and reports on it. We are running Agile here (scrum) so any experience in this area would be a bonus.

  • You'll be inquisitive with a "Can Do" attitude and be adept at developing tailored solutions for tricky problems.
  • Follows and implements best practices for ETL/Data Engineering processes and Database management. We'd be more impressed by the right fit rather than ticking all the boxes so If you think you have got what it takes, apply!
  • At least 7 years experience designing, building and managing data pipelines for data structures encompassing data transformation, data models, schemas, metadata and workload management. The ability to work with both IT and business in integrating analytics and data science output into business processes and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of how reporting and analytics solutions such as Birst, Tableau, Power BI integrate with Cloud-based data management platforms
  • At least 2 years experience implementing large scale data loading, manipulation, processing and exploration in Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP (AWS strongly preferred) and experience in working with data lakes and streaming data.
  • Strong experience with popular database programming languages including SQL, PL/SQL, others for relational databases and knowledge or hands-on experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J for non-relational databases.
