The Role:
The primary focus will be to take the development, implementation and operation the business intelligence framework to the next level that will enable the company to deliver on the vision. BI framework covers the key areas such as Customer - BI and Internal Stakeholder/Decision Support - BI.
Your Responsibilities:
- Draw from current BI practices to develop a BI framework.
- This BI Framework will enable the continuous creation of focussed, accurate and intuitive BI representations of customer, carrier and financial data to internal and external audiences.
- Design and build high quality prediction systems and reports based on customer, carrier and external data and integrated with our BI systems.
- Apply data extraction and evaluation techniques such as mining using state-of-the-art methods
- Extend company's data with third party sources of information when needed
- Influence internal and external stakeholders to enhance the breadth and quality of corporate data.
- Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
- Establish and manage practices to process, cleans, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance
- Manage and analyse data structure and quality on a continuous basis.
- Provide leadership, technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
- Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience with common data science and visualisation tools, Power BI
- Experience in the use of SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Exercising sound judgement in selecting data and information to support robust decisions
- Applied knowledge in maintaining master data, business process, policy and procedure control documents
- Demonstrated customer service focus, including the ability to adapt service level and style to meet the differing needs of customers
- Expert level in Power BI, MS Excel and other analytical software skills
