The Role:
Tasked with enabling technology teams to deliver robust, resilient and secure ICT solutions to the business, you will be responsible for providing them with the information they need to make the best decisions. This includes:
- supporting and building a control assurance programme of work
- performing ongoing and routine testing of a predefined suite of technical controls
- monitoring control dashboards and escalating/actioning where necessary
- proactively identifying control gaps and potential risks
- continuous improvement
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the field of operational risk, preferably within financial/insurance sector
- Knowledge and understanding of a diverse range of technologies and technical concepts
- Experience in control design and testing in a large and complex technology environment
- Familiarity with common technology industry standards such as NIST or Cobit 5 preferred
- Outstanding communication skills both written and oral
