Background to role

This is a brand-new role for the organisation which will mark the beginning of a significant journey into a new digital era. They are moving to a digital-first approach to their information which is currently produced in a range of formats. This includes books, magazines, face-to-face seminars, webinars, and stand alone websites.

Your role

Your initial focus will be reviewing what their current digital offerings look like and exploring how those in the building industry are consuming content in digital formats. From there, your work will shift to working alongside many of the BRANZ staff to translate research and practical guidance into effective digital formats. You will help create a smooth user experience for those consuming the content and be able to measure the success of new digital content initiatives.

Key skills you will bring

· Proven experience curating digital content through it’s full lifecycle from planning through to implementation
· Demonstrable knowledge of multiple digital content channels
· Excellent people skills and the ability to interact well with a wide variety of personalities
· Understanding of analytics tools across a variety of digital platforms
· Ability to be self-directed and provide leadership and insights to other staff to help further their understanding of the digital content landscape
· Strong organisational skills and ability to follow clear processes
· Any knowledge of building, construction and scientific research is a bonus
